International Outlook

As part of the International Schools Partnership, a global group of 80+ schools spanning 22 countries, students at Westlink will have many opportunities to participate in international events.

Primary Years Program (PYP)
(Grade 1 - 5)

The PYP is based on transdisciplinary units of inquiry. Students undertake 6 units of inquiry each year which encourage them to inquire, think and learn, both in the classroom and in the world outside.
Subjects: English, Math, Science, Languages, Art, Music & Drama, ICT and PE.

Middle Years Program (PYP)
(Grade 6 - 10)

The MYP promotes interdisciplinary study that encourages students to make connections between their studies and the real world.
Subjects: English, Math, Science, Languages, Individuals & Societies, Design, Arts and PE.

IB Diploma Program (IBDP)
(Grade 11-12) (launching in the future)

The DP is a two-year program of studies that provides a balanced curriculum, encourages social responsibility and prepares students for higher education (world top universities).
Subjects: English, Math, Science, Languages, Individuals & Societies, Arts, DP Core, PE.

IB PROGRAM

100% of periods in English and meet the strict teaching standards of the IB Organization.

Graduating with a prestigious IB degree - conquering the Top Universities in the world.

A combination of core subjects: English, Mathematics, and Science, with specialist areas such as Art, Music, ICT, PE, and Drama. 

Develop 10 profile of IB learners.

The blending of US Common Core & MOET curriculum.

A student-centered teaching approach that focuses on cultivating English acquisition, problem-solving, critical thinking, innovation, and collaboration skills.

At the end of Grade 9, students will transfer to the International Program and undertake a specially devised preparation year for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP).
